linux is famously known for being very moddable and hacker friendly. It's a different kind of OS that's basically completely open ended.
This could be bad news for the PS3 because with this and internet browsing, what's stopping users from downloading online hacks to ruin online play directly to their HDD. There's no need to modd the PS3 because you already have internet connection to a HDD.

Considering the only way Sony's gonna benefit from the PS3 is from movies in that BR becomes the next format. But it's gonna take 2 years ATLEAST to determine that.

Microsoft and even sony, when a console gets launched the hardware team of computer and electric engineers immediately start developing and hypothesising on the next console. It's how it works. Even in a previous Moore interview he said they give the xbox team a 4 week vacation to hawaii or wherever than they immediately start the next xbox.

the 360 controller is perfect, i've had most of the consoles from all the companies and the 360 is the best by far. It's awesome.
it's not their ego, it's their wallet. Think about it immersion may cost 10 bucks to add on. Multiply that by 10 million and you have a big loss.

demos is a horrible option for a game that will sell a lot. Remember GRAW and COD2, no demo until 3-5 months after because they knew demos would hurt AAA titles because it delays purchases and encourages people to back out.
demos should only be done with games that NEED exposure, like FNR3 which I think multiplied their sales by 8 after the demo was released.
ps3 ultimate, you are so lame. MGS4 ISN'T as big of a deal or as popular as you'd like it to be.
On top of that MGS4 is coming out when PS3 probably will have an installed base of 6 million or so. While the 360 will have about 16 million, most of them getting Halo 3 easily.

For kids/young adults now it's games/internet that matters most
